Step-by-step guide for developing a Health Resilience Strategy

As part the ongoing support for Momentum Integrated Health Resilience (MIHR), during 2024 IRMA worked closely with the MIHR resilience team to develop and refine a project planning tool. The tool was developed to accompany staff working in fragile and conflict-affected settings through key steps to build a context-appropriate health resilience strategy.

Aligning with context analysis tools and mappings previously developed/conducted by IRMA for MIHR, the project planning tool details the process of analyzing risks that have the potential to impede health outcomes for vulnerable populations and identifying which resilience capacities to invest in, to manage those risks.

IRMA’s team for his assignments included Hannah Vaughan-Lee (Team Leader) and Marilise Turnbull.
