IRMA mapped Oxfam’s DRR work to provide a global overview of its portfolio. We identified areas of good practice in programming and advocacy, as well as potential for learning, growth and quality enhancement. The results were used to inform Oxfam’s strategic planning and resourcing process. We included, at their request, an evaluation of Oxfam’s actions in relation to the 2015-16 El Nino phenomenon, to enable Oxfam to measure to what extent it took ‘early action’ to reduce risk for affected populations, and to facilitate even earlier action in slow onset crises in the future.

Camp Management Review for Norwegian Refugee Council
Norwegian Refugee Council asked IRMA to conduct a global review of its camp management programming. The portfolio includes traditional camp management, interventions in urban displacement contexts, and in mobile sites, and spans seventeen countries including Iraq, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Brazil, Greece
